- ➤ Hampton police released a photo of a person they believe was connected to the May 5 shooting that killed 29-year-old Xavier Sterling outside Chances Restaurant — authorities urge anyone with information to come forward. WTKR
ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ The Chesapeake Bay Foundation worked along the Hampton River, installing over 4,500 oyster castles and recycled shells on the Pinecone Harbor reef — a step to help oysters filter water and improve our waterways. The group said picking up trash from land is key to cleaner water — and it invites 3,000 volunteers to join Virginia’s largest cleanup from 9 a.m. until noon on June 7. WAVY
