- ➤ Local singer and songwriter Roberta Lea created the Too Much of a Woman Festival to celebrate women's empowerment with workshops, panel discussions and live music. - ➤ Hampton University has partnered with the Chesapeake Bay Foundation to offer a course that will have 10 students build a 1,200-ft living shoreline (mixing wetlands and oyster habitat) across from Settlers Landing Bridge next school year. - ➤ Lawmakers are proposing two bills that will set guidelines for AI use in public schools, one (Senate Bill 394) establishing a pilot program with annual reporting and another (House Bill 1186) banning mandatory AI chatbot use, with changes expected before the March 14 legislative deadline.
