- ➤ The Veterans Day ceremony will be held on November 8 at 11 a.m. at Fort Monroe’s Continental Park while the planned parade was canceled because federal agencies cannot actively participate—Hampton will resume the parade in 2026. City of Hampton
- ➤ A AAA study found that confusion over Virginia’s 'slow down, move over' law is leaving first responders at risk—only 64% of drivers react correctly when encountering a stopped emergency vehicle, and 46 responders lost their lives in past incidents.
