- ➤ On Sunday morning, the Hampton Roads Coalition for Filipino Seafarers held a rally at Town Point Park to protest the deportations of over 33 Filipino cruise ship workers—these deportations led to the revocation of work visas and left Carnival Cruise Line not supporting its workers. WAVY

- ➤ Crews responded to a structure fire at the 2000 block of Enterprise Pkwy just after 3 a.m. today—local teams are now investigating the incident. WAVY

- ➤ Virginia Beach and Hampton officials are preparing for moderate to severe coastal impacts from Tropical Storm Imelda and Hurricane Humberto as crews check storm drainage and public works teams stand by near Buckroe Beach—similar to the conditions seen during Hurricane Erin in August.
