- ➤ Dozens of children from across Hampton Roads began a seven-day stay at Camp Hope, a summer camp for kids who faced domestic violence organized by the Norfolk Sheriff’s Office on Sunday. Lt. Juan Serrano said the camp offers outdoor activities, counseling, and friendship building to help the children heal—furthermore, the program is supported by over $30,000 raised yearly to keep it free for families.
