- ➤ Applications are now open for cohort 7 of the VB UPLIFT Program, an intensive 8-week accelerator designed to help established small businesses in Hampton grow. The program offers weekly in-person sessions at The HIVE Virginia Beach from September 10 to November 5—eligible businesses must apply by August 29 and meet requirements such as two years in business and a minimum of $50K annual revenue. - ➤ Early Sunday, Hampton Police responded at 12:18 a.m.—at the 2000 block of Enterprise Parkway near an Amazon warehouse—to find an Amazon employee with life-threatening injuries after multiple shots were fired, and the suspect fled in a car; first responders provided emergency care and police are asking the public to help identify the shooter. 13 News Now
