- ➤ Virginia State Police investigated a fatal crash on I-664 Thursday morning when troopers were dispatched just before 11 a.m. to the southbound lanes at Aberdeen Road—no further details have been released. WAVY

- ➤ Mango Mangeaux Bistro, a popular restaurant serving Creole dishes, announced it will close on January 1, 2026 after a decade in the Phoebus community—owners said the restaurant may reappear later with new leadership and its other local ventures will stay open. WTKR

- ➤ Two people were arrested in connection with the fatal shooting on Topping Lane that occurred on April 15 — 19-year-old Izayah Jeanty faces charges of second-degree murder, firearm use in commission of a felony and discharge of a firearm, while 18-year-old Antonette Jefferson was charged as an accessory after the fact of murder. - ➤ Hampton police responded just before 3 a.m. to the 2100 block of West Mercury Blvd where they found two men with gunshot wounds and at 3:11 a.m. to the 300 block of North Mallory St where they discovered a woman had been shot—injuries remain unknown at this time. WAVY
