- ➤ On Wednesday, Hampton police arrested a 22-year-old suspect after an argument sparked a shooting on Fox Hill Road that left a 21-year-old man seriously injured and hospitalized+detectives from the Major Crimes Unit are investigating the incident. WTKR
- ➤ Hampton officials warned local residents and business owners that scammers impersonate city employees to collect unauthorized rezoning payments using fake emails and documents — they stressed that only messages ending with @hampton.gov are legitimate and urged anyone receiving suspicious invoices to report them immediately. 13 News Now

- ➤ Today, Hampton University Concert Choir is in England to honor R. Nathaniel Dett’s legacy and begin a five-year tour of Europe with an exchange concert with Canterbury Christ Church University.
