- ➤ A man died after being struck by a car while trying to cross the westbound lanes at West Mercury Boulevard and Big Bethel Road this morning—Hampton police continue to investigate the crash as the driver remained at the scene. WAVY
- ➤ A multi-vehicle accident on I-64 E near mile marker 267.1 and Settlers Landing Road caused all eastbound lanes to close (with nearly three miles of backed-up traffic) near Hampton University; officials confirmed the delay (via 511 Virginia). WAVY

- ➤ Traffic on I-64 East shifted last night as both eastbound lanes moved right between West Bay Avenue and Patrol Road, forcing a single-lane closure and detour of the West Bay on-ramp until Monday morning—this milestone in the HRBT expansion finished eastbound widening work that added one mile of roadway and expanded four bridges and overpasses. 13 News Now
