  • Four baby otters rescued from Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek-Fort Story are now cared for at Evelyn’s Wildlife Refuge. Two of the pups were found dehydrated and hungry outside a Navy building and will be rehabilitated until they are ready to be released next spring—base personnel and volunteers rescued them after their mother did not return.  13 News Now

HEALTH NEWS

  • On Saturday, Sentara Norfolk General Hospital hosted a community health event in Norfolk to boost health education and care for Hampton Roads residents, featuring over 50 resource tables offering screenings, CPR training, dental services and job opportunities (with food trucks, music and a petting zoo to keep families engaged).  WTKR
