- ➤ VDOT will close a lane on I-64 West in James City County overnight starting tonight from 7 p.m. until 5 a.m. for two weeks—workers will shift traffic five feet to the right near the Route 199 Lightfoot exit to the New Kent/James City County line as part of a 29-mile widening project connecting Richmond and Hampton Roads, and the change is expected to remain in place through summer. 13 News Now
