- ➤ Officials announced Tuesday that the Virginia Aquarium & Marine Science Center in Virginia Beach now hosts three new species. The arrivals include Willow, a one-year-old opossum rescued as a baby, Maple, a striped skunk born at the Nashville Zoo, and Mahogany, a spectacled owl hatched at the Audubon Zoo, joining educational displays. - ➤ State officials approved two sites for the Virginia Landmarks Register on March 19.
