Operation Feed Drop Offs at Assembly

About this event

Thanksgiving tastes better when everyone gets a plate. Revive Community is teaming up with Renaissance Academy, Norfolk Extension Master Gardeners, and Assembly to stock the shelves for Operation Feed: Eat at the Garden, a free day-before-Thanksgiving meal, resource distribution, and celebration at Revive’s Community Garden. Free for families, students, and anyone who needs a meal! Now through 11/25, drop canned goods at the front desk at Assembly to supplement the groceries families will take home, alongside free turkeys, hot meals, and hands-on workshops where attendees will learn to grow their own food. Think canned veggies, beans, soups, fruit, and stuffing staples. Every can will be paired with fresh produce from our community garden and will go straight to the table of a family in need. Need a meal? Don’t just donate; join us and bring a Friend! Free & Open to the Public – https://www.instagram.com/p/DeiK4eGjDqL/
