Discussion Circle: Introduction to Working with Herbs

About this event

🌾🪻🌱🌼🍀 Herbs have long been used in a variety of spiritual, magical, and everyday practices. Whether you’re just beginning to explore working with herbs or have years of experience, this discussion circle is an opportunity to learn from one another, exchange ideas, and explore the many ways herbs can be incorporated into our personal practices.

We’ll begin with an introduction to some of the most commonly used herbs and their traditional associations, purposes, and uses. From there, we’ll open the conversation to the group to share experiences, discuss different approaches, and learn from the diverse practices and perspectives within our community.

Some of the topics we’ll explore include:

• 🌱 Common herbs and their traditional magical and spiritual associations

• 🌱 Different ways to work with herbs, such as sachets, incense, ritual offerings, spellwork, and other personal practices

• 🌱 How people choose herbs and incorporate them into their own traditions

• 🌱 Favorite herbs, personal experiences, and ideas for further exploration

• 🌱 Brief safety tips when working with herbs

Want to participate in the sharing? You’re welcome to bring one or two of your favorite herbs to introduce to the group, along with any experiences, traditions, or practices you’d like to share. We ask that you bring your herbs in a sealable container to reduce clean up. This is entirely optional! You don’t need to bring anything or have prior experience to participate.

As always, this is a space for open conversation, curiosity, and mutual learning. There is no single right way to work with herbs, and all experience levels and respectful perspectives are welcome.

Come ready to share what you know, discover something new, and enjoy learning together! 🌿

We will be in Conference Room B.
